Rockford Tool’s management has been involved in manufacturing in Asia since 1992. We are experienced in the manufacturing of finished products, castings, stampings, metal and plastic tooling, components, full assemblies and glass products.

In addition to manufacturing, we can also source products in Asia, design packaging, and create sales material for your retail product needs.

Tom Gricius – President
Tom has been involved in manufacturing in Asia since 1992. This along with 30 years of experience with major retailers and various positions in manufacturing gives him the experience and insight into sourcing, product design, and management that makes Rockford Tool Company a success. Over the years, Mr. Gricius has developed a strong working relationship with a select group of manufacturers in Asia along with a sound team of independent quality control people across the continent. By going over to see the factories and quality control personnel several times a year, Tom further solidifies these important relationships. Developing these strong ties is paramount when manufacturing in Asia. These ties cover Northern and Southern China, Taiwan, and India.

Gale Pence – Sales Engineer
Gale Pence’s experience and education goes back to 1982 where he started as an apprentice tool and die mold maker and worked his way up to a Sales Engineer/Project Manager for a large tooling company in Milwaukee. Gale brings his expertise in tooling design and development for plastic and die cast products.

Quality Control
Having our own quality control engineering department based in China and Taiwan makes us uniquely different and extremely efficient. This allows for lower turnaround times and assures a quality component sooner. Since the quality control agents work for Rockford Tool, this allows us to enforce the high quality standards our customers so desperately need. These quality control engineers also have good relationships with hundreds of factories. This allows us to find the perfect factory for whatever our customers’ needs may be.
